Central Taxi Selects Mobile Knowledge
End-to-End Data Dispatch for St. Catharine's Ottawa, Canada, May 28, 2007 - Mobile Knowledge Corp. ("MKC") is pleased to announce an agreement with Central Taxi of St. Catharine's Ontario to deploy the MKC eXpert Dispatch Software and Series 9006 Mobile Data Terminal ("MDT"). Central Taxi has a long legacy of service to the Niagara Peninsula for over 50 years. The Company operates 60 vehicles, providing a wide range of transportation services to private passengers and account clients alike. Central Taxi enjoys significant long standing contracts with the local school board, as well as other private & public corporations both local and national in scale. The Series 9006 with integrated Taximeter will allow Central Taxi drivers to communicate effortlessly with the dispatch office, monitoring busy zones across the city and transacting cashless payments minimizing the amount of cash that Drivers need to keep on their person. The GPS features of the Series 9006 and XDS software ensure that vehicle locations and status can be tracked in the event of an emergency situation.
